Registration Types
You must be at least 18 years of age (as of 18 July 2010) to register to the XVIII International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2010). All children/youths under the age of 18 (as of 18 July 2010) must register as accompanying children.
Regular Delegate
To register as a regular delegate, you must be at least 18 years old (as of 18 July 2010). The registration fee for regular delegates includes entry to all conference sessions, the exhibition and poster area, the opening session and the closing session.
If the completed registration form and payment in full are received on or before 5 May 2010, a conference bag and other conference materials including the conference programme and the abstract CD-ROM are guaranteed. If the completed registration form and/or full payment are received after 5 May 2010 (including onsite registrations), we cannot guarantee that a conference bag and other conference materials will be available. All conference materials will be handed out onsite.
Student/Post-doc/Youth Delegate
To register as a student/post-doc delegate, you must be at least 18 years old (as of 18 July 2010) and you must provide proof of fulltime enrolment at a recognized university or college at both the time of registration and during the conference.
To register as a youth delegate, you must be between 18 and 26 years old inclusive (as of 18 July 2010) and provide proof of age.
The registration fee for students/post-doc and youth delegates includes entry to all conference sessions, the exhibition area, the poster area, the opening session and the closing session.

Accompanying Adult/Accompanying Child
A special registration package is available for persons accompanying regular delegates.
An accompanying adult must be at least 18 years old (as of 18 July 2010). The registration fee for accompanying adults includes entry to the conference venue, the opening and closing session, as well as a half day city tour. Entry to the exhibition and poster area and all other conference sessions is not included.
Accompanying persons under the age of 18 years (as of 18 July 2010) must be registered as accompanying children and are required to submit the Parent/Guardian Consent Form in order to attend the conference. Accompanying children have access (together with the regular delegate they are accompanied by) to all conference sessions, the exhibition and poster area, the opening session and the closing session.
Media Representative
To register as a media representative, you must be at least 18 years old (as of 18 July 2010). There is no registration fee for accredited media representatives. However, to register as a media representative, proof of accreditation must be submitted. All credentials will be verified by conference staff and approved before media registration is confirmed. As the number of media registrations is limited, the IAS reserves the right to refuse applications.
Media registration includes entry to the onsite media centre, all conference sessions, the exhibition and poster area and the opening and closing session. A conference bag and materials are also included.
Exhibitor
To register as an exhibitor, you must be at least 18 years old (as of 18 July 2010). Exhibitor registration includes entry to the exhibition area, the satellites and the opening. It does not include access to the conference sessions, nor the conference bag and materials. The number of exhibitors badges issued is based on the size of the exhibition space ordered. Exhibitor registration can be made through ISET.
